The Cell Counting Kit is a Cell proliferation and toxicity testing Kit based on a water-soluble tetrazolium salt.It can be reduced to soluble formazan by dehydrogenase in mitochondria in the presence of the electron-coupled reagent 1-methoxy PMS.The number of formazan is proportional to the number of living cells. The faster the proliferation of cells, the less cytotoxic the cells are, the more cells there are, and the darker the color is. There is a good linear relationship between the depth of color and the number of cells.Compared with MTT,XTT,MTS and wst-1, this method is more sensitive and has a wider linear range. It is suitable for drug screening, cell proliferation assay, cytotoxicity assay and tumor susceptibility test.CCK is non-radioactive allows sensitive colorimetric analysis to determine the number of living cells in cell proliferation and cytotoxicity analysis.
